early morning edit: the reason to why its so low poly is becouse when i did this i had an RTS in mind, and its even to high poly for thatXD

now i've been working on this one for 3 days now, no not 3 full days, more like 2 hour each day.. anyway, this is my first concept art too C&C on everything is welcome, free to use for commercial and non commercial projects, just gimme credits

YOU MAY NOT SELL THIS MODEL, if you retextured it u cant sell it either, just for NON AND COMMERCIAL PROJECTS now if u have any questions about the conditions feel free to ask^^

also, if u find problems with the model, give me a note, i will try to fix it and reupload.

model is 642 tris and texture is 1024x1024 pixels

pics:

and the concept:

sorry for bad picture - i dont have a scanner =P also dont mind the texts and crapXD
this concept art is not for selling, you may use it for commercial and non commercial projects

well good night^^ have fun with the model
also, no animations or handls included

just an edit: model made in Milkshape, texture in PS, applied bump map in Blender and rendered in Kerkythea, used a black plane as backround=P

update with some new work, an Smoke granade and an Flashbang, made with my own reference now too, but i wont upload the ref as its so simplistic^^.

havent included this in the download =P but i will later.

Looks good!
But some parts are to boxy/non-ergonomic. And the magazine would need to be more straight, and it should be pointing down (if it shoots bullets of course )

But you managed to keep to the concept art, and thats great

It's a semi-OK looking gun, but I guarantee you no one could sell it no matter how hard they tried.

Growls at the raven...

It looks okay for a Rts gun, and with a little tweaking you could sell this model. Since its lowpoly, Try removing the holes in the stock and use .Png

Try using a smaller cartidge like the M4 carbines, Itll just need to be made smaller in other words, otherwise reloading it would be dam near impossible with oncoming. While your thier move it slighty back towards the trigger, that way you would be able to reach the foregrip.

Cant think of anything else right now, youv came along way in the time youv been here.

Quoth its free and i dont see you bringing to the table.

Not bad, not really what metal looks like, tone down the scratches, and give it a bit of shading, you usually only find metal scratches at edges.

Yeah, asteric's right, not bad, but the metal type of texture you used looks like what would be used on a dumpster (no insult or joke intended). If you're using Photoshop or The Gimp, may I recommend bringint the contrast down on the metal part, and maybe even adding a weak brushed metal texture as an overlay? (One problem I do see is the color of the metal is too dark in comparison to the lighter color of the rims of the can.
