This is an unfinished project of mine ... still in continuous development. The main goal is a singleplayer game similar to eve & X-series game. The ship is a XWing model extracted from a star wars game, because i didn't have any other ship models than.

The entire project can be downloaded from here:

if you think you can ... or not.. both ways.. you're right

First, it would be helpful if the links were actually links.

Second, why would anyone recreate the horrible EvE Online interface and ship navigation. The steep learning curve, the lack of help, and the lack of control over your own ship without hours and hours and hours of trial and error is what turned me away from EvE. I'm not the only one either. I've heard from many gamers that would play EvE if the user interface were more friendly.

Anyway, that aside, it looks like you have a nice framework started.

I did notice you've run into the problem of object shaking at large distances away from 0,0,0. The X-Wing fighter in the video visibly shakes due to floating point inaccuracies at that distance.

I think it is an interesting project.

It shouldn't be too difficult to solve the shaking.
Just offset every object with the camera position at the end of the loop, and let camera to be at 0,0,0.
