Dark GDK / blurred and distorted sprites

My game is 2d. All of the sprites are distored/blurry. I've tried setting my screen resolution to 1024,768 like my game, but that doesn't work either. Anyone have any ideas? I want my picures to be displayed exactly as they are.

I make the same kind of games as any Chemisty major would.

Well, make sure that you make all you pictures in the resolution that the game is. What I do ( in photoshop ) is make a file that is 1280 by 1024 and in there make all my images. Then select your image, trim, and then save. When you load it in your game ( also 1280 by 1024 ) they will be like you made them in photoshop. ( this also works with gimp and any other layer based image editors.

I figured it out. All i had to do was add 1 as the tag number for the third parameter to dbLoadImage. Now they look fine even with my monitors unusual resolution.

I make the same kind of games as any Chemisty major would.
