I was just testing my fpsc zombie game i was making and i think i pressed a button and my fps somehow sky rocketed to around 300. How did i do this? BTW im using Fenix mod. I just thought it was odd and thinking maybe i could make my game run at 50fps or 60

When you press x it uncaps the frames. This is not suggested and will only work in test game.

LOL I remember doing that once. It was hilarious. I was playing a desert firefight (long-ago abondoned) game I made, simply shooting and dodging and then it was like my character took Supah-steroids or something cause everything was moving unbelievably fast, and I was like, "?!?...Ehm...??".

I've seen it all. Except for myself ever not failing at something.
