Ok Im sure there is a way to do this but Im wondering is there a way to make a door set up to open on a voice command. I mean player types trick or treat an the door unlocks.

Is there a way to do this? If so please explain in detail how to do it. Because I want to make a halloween trick or treat game for free for the community's I post an work on.

You could do with several workarounds or a mod...but honestly

---> this is a perfect example for trying to achive something with the vanilla editor, that its definitely not made for.

What you CAN do is:
1. label (lets say) a skull (which is a halloween mask for the game) as a KEY which opens the door
2. give the door a hud that says "In this house you'll only get trick or treat if you wear a proper Halloween mask"

That way the player finds the houses locked until he finds a mask which allows him to enter the house (but I guess he wont find treats inside )

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

In RPG Mod you can allow the player to see what they're typing on screen and allow for some variation in the answer (and much more)

Ok what you need to know is each key on the keyboard has a number assigned to it. The numbers to the left of scancodekeypressed each correspond to a key on the keyboard. You would have to create a new line for each key pressed using its unique number. NOTE: there is a chart with all of the keys and their scancode in the Community Guide, also you can find the same chart by searching scancodekeypressed on the forums.

BTW GJ I see no reason for you emailing mods about Jenkins He was merely stating a fact...

Yeah I was afraid of the key stroke deal. Is there a list of key strokes? That would make it easier. As for scripting I do just not in this Lang. I did c# mostly so new to this code.
