Hi All,

Since starting WASP mod I've received quite a few emails regarding Modding FPSC, many asking advice on commands or asking for help with code. I can't help everyone unfortunately due to time, but it did make me think about the benefit of a modders resource. So with that in mind, I've started to work on such a resource. You can find details on my website. I've started by adding code for a few new Actions which may be added/edited by fellow modders writing their own mods. I will be adding to this list over time, including code for more new Actions, new Conditions, some new features, and gunspec commands.

I hope that people find this a useful resource. If you like this please let me know and I will continue to expand on the database.

Sounds like a good idea!

I did notice you had some typos in your code on the page, though. Such as missing a parenthese.

Also, I think the page could do with a bit better format. The layout you currently have is a tad confusing.

Thanks for that I'll check it out...

I agree, it was sort of hurried last night, when I've a little more time I'll make it more user friendly.

Just to say that the typo's have been corrected (thanks Plystire) and that I've added a new action and a new condition kindly donated by ZeZa.

I'll be adding more over the weekend.

Many thanks...

Some new commands groups added, alter and monitor player strength, Alter and monitor entity strength and Add remove Blob shadow.

I've got a fair few more to add but I'm fairly busy, so it might take to few days.

Hi,

My web host is down for maintenance at the moment, but when it's back up again some new commands being added..

A revised and improved version of Dar13's target commands (thanks Dar13 for the update).

SpawnAtEntity (activate and move an entity to another entity)

HeadShotDamage (alter the amount of damage caused by headshots)

Spawnlife (alter an entities spawn life)

As I'm quite enjoying building this database, if anyone has any requests for commands, I'm willing to look into adding them.

Hope this is proving useful..

Sorry, I've been busy so updates have been slow..

Added SetAspect x to alter the camera aspect, not a major new command but I thought someone might find it useful.

This seems like a neat idea, I'll see if I can find some of my old code I used for my own stuff on my backups.

Very useful, even though i dont understand it

EDIT

In features it says night vision. You dont need it in a mod for it to work. I have a night vision script which works really very well

That was actually a feature of WASP mod and isn't listed in the database. You are of course right that you don't need a mod, but hard coded night vision will always be much faster and more efficient than one running from a script.

Hi,

Sorry, it's been awhile since I last updated, I've been rather busy with life stuff.

A new series of actions and conditions to alter, compare and manage an entities explodable damage.

SetExplDamage x = set the amount of explode damage an entitiy does.
IncExplDamage x = increase explode damage by x
DecExplDamage x = decrease explode damage by x
ExploDamageToVar = transfer the entities explode damage to current variable
VarToExploDamage = the reverse, transfer the current variable to an entities explode damage

ExplodeDamageEqual x = compare entities explode damage with X and if equal return positive
ExplodeDamageGreater x= compare entities explode damage and if greater then X return positive

Enjoy and I hope modders are finding this useful

Hi Guys,

Just bumping this as I haven't had any real code to add for a few weeks. If there is anyone who has offered to add code and would still like to do so could they get in touch so we can keep this alive and useful. Otherwise you'll all have to put up with my slow updates

Thanks

Sorry for lack of updates.. I will try to turn my attention back to this soon.

Before I do, can I ask how useful this is being to people? I found this thread on page 4 and obviously don't see the point in continuing if it's of no use.

Secondly, if it is useful, could I ask for if there are any modders who would like to donate additional code as I am just one man..

This is a great idea, just looked into modding FPSC a week ago and this will help me learn a lot. Maybe an idea for an action (not for scripting) would be capping/uncapping the FPS as I've tried and failed at doing so.

New Site is up! Go check it out!

Hi Guys,

Sorry that this thread has been quiet for so long.. I hope people are still using it.

Updates today are a new set of variable commands which allow for the comparison, addition or subtraction of any local or global variable. The link to my site is in the first post.

Also, although I don't get a lot of time, I'm asking for ideas for additions to the database you might all find useful. I can't promise that I'll actually add them, but I will try... And of course I am still willing to add third part code for anyone who has some.
