and what makes you think they'd want do all that work for your idea and then pay you for the privelage?
The simple truth is, if you want something done do it yourself.
If you don't have the time or expertise to make it into a game, why not write a story around the idea. You can't do any harm to it and you'll be able to flesh out the idea and remove parts that don't work.
You'll either end up with a good story or an improved game idea.
Ideas are worthless if they remain ideas (did I coin a phrase there?

), write them down and play around with them. Even if they turn out to be bad ideas you still get practice at having ideas (yes you really can get better at having ideas) and expanding on them.
