Hey,

There are lots of effects I'd like to change around in my FPSC games. I'm using FPS Creator x10, but I remember doing this in x9 (just not exactly how), so I posted it here.

One effect I'd like to change in particular is the muzzleflash (the thing that briefly appears out of the end of the player's gun when it is fired).

Any ideas?

Go intot he gunspec file for the gun you want to change and alter the "muzzleflash = " option.

If Ply's post wasn't informative enough, take a look in the gamecore/muzzleflashes folder. Say you wanted to use flash3.dds then you just set muzzleflash = 3 in the gunspec. If you want to actually edit muzzleflash images, download gimp and get the .dds plugin or if you have photoshop then use the plugin for that.
