Dark GDK / how to make a torch light effect?

hi everyone, i got a problem.
i can't make a "torch effect"
i would like to make a conical beam that looks like this image:

can anyone help me please?

i think the directional lights do that. have you tried the documentation?

You need a spotlight, which is created by the dbSetSpotLight function.

EDIT: I never managed to create a really spectacular effect with a spotlight, though. It didn't seem to be strong enough and if it was too close to the target, then the light just disappeared.

EDIT: If it doesn't need to be a real light, maybe you can make a transparent/ghosted cone object and make it glow by adjusting the lighting properties of the object (e.g. dbSetObjectEmissive). Just an idea, I'm not quite sure it would work but may be worth a try.
