i'm working on a puzzle type game involving an alien and water currently titled
'Aliens Don't Like Water'
i'm hoping to win with just the title
i love metal slug, its one of my favourite games

I hope we don't get 97 games all with the same main character...

Making a sports game for insurance, a mix of football and soccer.

There is one alien team for every planet (other than earth that is)
There will be normal matches and season mode where you do 1on1 battle tournaments.
Each team has a different Skin.
Each player has different stats.

After that, if I have the time, I'll make a free for all adventure game.



Hell Begins September 2nd at 7:30 AM. Yep, schools starting soon. Ordered Dark Basic Pro. 1-3 Weeks remaining!

we blatantly are going to end up with 97 games starring mr alien. I can see it now. The titles:

Super Alien Bros
PaperAlien
The Alien vs Predator
The lost alien
Commandos 2: Aliens of Courage
Sim Mars
Alien of Fortune
Alien Soccer
Andrew the Alien - Can he fix it?
OK im done now

On the bright side, at least the games will have one decent 3D model each. But they are gonna be so boring to the judges. "Oh look another game starring 'Mickey Alien'"

Sorry if ive spoiled anyones idea

That aside ill still be entering and here's a clue to what im making:

Its not a remake of any sort, and it stars an alien.... and they say im vague when i describe things..

They said the alien should be the main character/villian. If I get done with "AlienBall" then my adventure game shall have the alien as the villian. I'll just make some joe shmoe to star the game, or you could make a custom character. Ooh the thoughts that rush into my head at last moment!

i have developed my idea further today- here was last nights developed idea:

but now:

Its not a remake of any sort, it stars an alien, and is an adventure game, with a combat system like the shenmue button bashing. I actually have quite a plot written and even some voice actors ligned up, (EDIT: George Clooney said he would if he could do the alien voice, and Leonardo di Caprio said he is only willing to do the voice of a little girl) although with a 15mb limit they may not make it in the game.

Now all i gotta do is learn how to program from where i left off: what the bloody hell is a memblock.

Hi

I've decided to do a roleplayer, I'm personnaly not worried about it having the same alien as all the others, I'm just re-balancing the skin texture to get different colour varieties, I've made 5 extra skins so far and I'm hoping some more might be possible.

All I'll say about the gameplay in mine is it'll have gameplay elements from the likes of Diablo, Shenmue and an old Sega Megadrive (Genesis if you're american) game called Shadowrun.

To be honest I feel sorry for the judges, they're the ones who'll have to see that alien object used something like 100 times! I'd be amazed if they don't get sick of it!

avan, by the sounds of it we have a similar initial idea... luckily im thinkin of changing it. although ill still be using my alien skins. I have green purple blue old young and child. but im thinkin of just using the gree and blue now.. although i have a possible plot which could involve the purple one...
