I found the line:
gogo = (max(0, dot(netNormal, L))*SurfColor*0.25) + (SurfColor*0.75) + AmbiColor;

And i replaced it with:
// gogo = (max(0, dot(netNormal, L))*SurfColor*0.25) + (SurfColor*0.75) + AmbiColor;
gogo = (max(0, dot(netNormal, L))*SurfColor*0.9) + (SurfColor*0.1) + AmbiColor;

By just pasting it into the script. I then saved the script, went into the editor, right-clicked on the enity to go to its properties and applied the "fastbone.fx" file to its "effect" box. When that didn't work, i opened the script again, only this time i typed the file location "effectbank", then a "\", and then the name of the file - "fastbone.fx" next to the "effect =". That didn't work either.

I don't know athing about coding so I can't help you there but here's a recent post that should contain your answer: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=159791&b=24
The answer given was for segments but it should apply to whatever you're doing too. Hope it helps!

You need all of the required texture maps. Like the _D2, _N, etc.

You have to make them if they're not already included...

Download GIMP, it allows you to make them all from one place.

right, horror shader

only change the fastbone.fx
Leave the horror FX script
your characters must have a D2,D,N,S texture
if your using stock models thats fine
when in game, hold < to lower the light settings

that should be everything, dont forget to apply the horror shader to the character

This may well get me a good wet towel whipping, but have you tried using the appear2.fpi ??

I only say this, as this solved Bond1's gore pack turning into ghosts with full shaders enabled for me at least.

I only use this for fun and have no interest in making commercial games ^_^

Try checking File-Preferences in FPSCreator and make sure Full Shader Effects is checked there as well as in the Build Game menu. If its not checked in Preferences then the shaders won't be on. At least thats my experience with it.

I tried that, but then they just appear darker, but still glowing, and when i hold down < or > until i cant see it anymore, then turn on my flashlight, all i see is just a jet black figure.

No, my characters already have D2 textures... But i guess i'll still make all of them.

EDIT: Wait, how do i make them? Do i have to draw what the characters look like and just save it as a D2, N, etc. texture?

Maybe it would be nice to tell others what it was in case they get the same problem and search for a solution??

I'm pretty sure all who tried to help here would like to know
