I know this has probably been answered before,

but i was wondering if it's worth getting dm (just for the models obviously ).

There is one thing:
Amazon says "100's of royalty free 3D models and textures"
Where as on the full list on the dm section of the site, theyre are about 70 models.

I need some building models too, but dm doesnt seem to have any.

Anywayz, i was also wondering if there are any other packs out there that i could buy (not too expensive), that contain more models, whilest staying low poly and royalty free.

I'm a good programmer, but im absolutely awfull at models, so most of the time i'm wasting good programming time from looking for models, a disc with a load on would sort out this problem.

cheers

Hundreds of models and textures means models and textures together, not seperatly. And counting the skyboxes and skysphere models, which I personally think are some of the best things in the pack, there are over 100 models.

I don't know of any other good media packs out there myself. DarkMatter 2 coming up however...

Keep in mind that some of the materials used in DBP have a licence saying you need permission from DBS (now TGC of course) to use them in your games. Just read the licence in the media folders of some of the examples.

I'm sad, the german version of DarkMatter will only be released in November. Is that really the only way to have the enhancement ? (and not a 30 days trial)
