well if you look the compile error kinda implies a problem with the header file itself...

@ Drowneath

Quite rude. "Please provide some code" will suffice. As you can see from its location it is one of microsoft's header files, not mine, so I thought it was an error someone could have already experienced. But since your sooo adept you should be able to sort out this mess.

mmreg.h:

The rest won't fit but I think you'd agree it isn't necessary. Please tell me if you find anything

@ Luke810

Thanks I thought it could be. Do you know if I can patch it or something?

That is not a proper header file. A header file should be all text, not binary. I'd suggest a search for a file of the same name on your drive and see if it isn't text like it should be. Then rename the garbaged file and copy in the text file, if you find one, to the same folder.

That was what I found when I searched my drive. But its sorted now I found one on the net. Then I did as you said and replaced the file. It looks very outdated but it appears to work. Its weird to find a piece of code which hasn't changed in a decade: http://doc.ddart.net/msdn/header/include/mmreg.h.html

Thanks Lilith
