so, this is a gun i made for a SST mod for HL2, although he found another who had made a better gun, me personally likes this one though=P it is around 1k polys^^ tell me what you think

Its a weird design i can tell you that much. Th cartridge thier anit exactly the best place lol.

Though i loved the first starship troopers, 2nd killed it/ 3rd craped in its grave.

So kudos on making it.

Are you planning to animate ?

I think the Assault Rifles used by the British in Iraq have a clip behind trigger design. Don't ask me the name of the gun though, I just saw it on Ross Kemp Returns to Afghanistan...

I love this gun like I loved Starship Troopers in it's under budgeted ironic cheesiness...

you're think of the famas, the british military use the standard issue assault rifle that is used by the American military.

anyway this weapon is it from starship troopers as i don't remember it being in it, either way looks good

Oh lol, I saw that SST update the other day. I check ModDB for HL2 mod updates every day.

The Aftermath map has a good atmosphere to it, but the surrounding cliffs are far too blocky. Try adding some larger lumps, you can tell that it's just a slightly noisy box. And the arachnid - I originally mistook it for a retextured Antlion.


As for the rifle, that's some nice clean polygon work there. And smooth. Mmm.

Jeku always gets drunk and tries to Moderate the ocean. Tirelessly slapping the waves as they roll in.
