I have just completed my first DLL for ages ... It includes :

functions to locate resources (eg FIND FREE IMAGE() to locate an unused image)

a new random number generator that generates floating point numbers between zero and one

get image width and height

get matrix width/height/columns/rows

commands to move the camera left/right/up/down like you can do with objects

An example project is included in the download as a small demonstration of some of the commands.

I'll have to download this one.

Those matrix commands could really help me out.

Yay I'll be taking that free image command thankyouyverymuch.....

I like it when people expand on previous commands and concepts, and don't just add new features. Very useful.

Theres no place like 127.0.0.1

Thanks, but it's not very coherent though. I have a mixture of different command groups in both this DLL and the utility DLL.

I've been thinking of breaking them both down into separate DLLs ...

Downside - more DLLs of a larger total size
Upside - you can choose exactly which command groups you want and reduce size

It may balance out in the end. Thoughts anyone?
