I've been trying to get GDK to work properly for a while now. When I first installed it, the demos worked great. I then got cocky and started screwing around with stuff, and none of it has worked since. I've reinstalled GDK multiple times, along with c++ and the august 2007 SDK as well. Nothing seems to work.

Whenever I compile the demo, this is the error I get:
1>Project : error PRJ0003 : Error spawning 'mt.exe'.

I tried another c++ program I made a while back, and it works perfectly still (thank god...). So what do I need to do?

Windows Vista 64bit
Visual C++ Express 2008
Whatever other specs you need just ask.

edit: Fixed with reinstalling Microsoft's SDK

Turn off the manifest. Project properties -> Linker -> Manifest File -> Generate manifest NO

What's the manifest do? I can program stuff in c++, but I don't know all of the project properties and doo-hickies yet.
