Hi guys

99% of the stuff I make are FPSC ready. However some stuff that I make for paying customers aren't always to their liking. So most of the stuff either goes into a big folder or gets deleted. So I have build up
a big folder of models (nearly 600) containing any thing from blinds to complete buildings, pillars, doors, Door frames.

Pretty much any static level design objects you can name.I'm architectural type guy don't like guns or characters or that type of stuff.

So instead of getting rid of them I might as well supply them here for free, time is limited so I can't always texture and import them into FPSC so it's better to release them here.

So I will slowly start adding models I don't have use for.

Screenshot followed by download. Enjoy!

Comments are always welcomed.

That is very kind of you.
Have you thought about filling a cd with just the models and selling it?

Nothing to see here, move along please.

As a non-FPSC user, I apologise if this is a stupid question, but what is 'FPSC ready'?

I thought FPSC used bog-standard models just like those we make for DBC and DBPro.

If this isn't true, what is involved in making models for FPSC? Is it just the file format not being .X?

No, it just means making the files that have to go with it.
First there are .fpe files.
.fpe files tell FPSC how big it is, what its texture image is, and a bunch more.
then there are .fpi files, which is its script, usually thats just for animated models though.
Then theres a little Icon you can click on.
Once you have those three things and name them the same thing, ie model.fpi, model.fpe, and model.bmp, you put those and the model and image file into the folder for models in FPSC's directory, and its FPSC ready

Ah OK - got that - thanks.

Is this done manually or is there some utility somewhere? I assume that if it's done manually, it's probably covered in the FPSC docs...

You can do it manually, or use what I use, its a really cool little program called 'make entities from x files'.
It gets the job done in about 1 minute.
If you want the link to it I'll hunt it down
