Oh no, I'm not talking about an actual screenshot, I'm talking about your setup in its current state. Mine:

That is my current PC state right now. I always have my deodorant and anti-acid tablets at hand!

It's a mess same with the rest of my apartment. Got me some cleaning to do tomorrow. Underneath all the school papers and old chinese food bowls and cartons, you might be lucky enough to find an inhaler, a usb hub, and a three-hole punch among other things . . .

Closest thing I have right now.

I like my big comfy chair. It's corduroy.

I will live forever or die trying.

I know, I'm weird like that. I need to have things clean and organized to get myself into a "working" mindset. Most game artist desks I see are littered with action figures and empty Red Bull cans.

Hey schweet, I use those same Samson speakers as monitors when I'm not at university. Those things rule.

bond1's setup wins in my book. Dude, how do you keep your desk so CLEAN?

@xplosys:
I admire your keyboard. Very awesome!

I'd post a pic of my setup, but none of the computers in the house are mine and they're all HORRIBLY setup and the desks are far much worse looking than anyone else's.

Actually, I think that toothbrush is for polishing chrome .

I'm buying a new desk today, my back is just not having it anymore, right now I'm on a gamer seat on a low table - which means I have to lean forward to get at the keyboard. It's great for playing games, not good for typing. I'm actually looking forward to getting my old office chair out and sit up and code, I expect my productivity to increase 3 fold. The other reason is my new laptop from work - well it's my ex-boss's monster Aspire 9810 - these things are awesome, 21'' screen, and it's not even that much slower than my desktop. So I'll have my desktop on a desk, and my 'big daddy' laptop on a little shelf beside my gaming chair. You can't use a 9810 as a laptop, it'd fall off or dislocate your hip, or crush your legs - laptops usually don't need to be picked up with both hands, bending at the knee to avoid back strain.

Here's mine. I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to keeping stuff tidy. I tried to fit in my computer, but bearing in mind it barely fits inside a relatively large cupboard I had to shove it in an extra image!

It really does depend on which desk we're referring to...
But here's my main one:

You should skip across the pond and see mine, it's pretty much small, but clean. I always take down the junk on it downstairs to be washed.

But then again, it's quite a disadvantage for competitive gamers to have messy desktops.

Nice, is it fine german engineering? Anyway, I think it's time to upgrade. I don't see any visual interface, most computers these days have one. They are handy for things like knowing what you are doing and porn.

Holy crap, everyone is so much tidier than me . . . There goes that feminine stereotype, right outta the window! * hides her horrible mess, in which you can usually barely find her mouse * :}

It doesn't help that the cats walk across it if they sense I am not playing video games. I have no idea how they know the difference, but they hate it when I'm working.

Grandma, that keyboard is awesome. I think I've seen something like that before in a magazine about building a steampunk pc, but I can't remember where...

Samson Resolv 40a. Bought them a few years ago - they were hard to find at the time. But they got great reviews from pro audio sites.

Yes, it's real. No, It's not my setup. Yes, I wish it was.

I wanted to take a picture of my desktop but the battery died as my finger approached the magic button. Awesome random computer pic it is then!

But now that the camera is charged...

Beautiful - man I'd love to have a whole room full of that stuff. Get some lighting from gas lamps, that would make for some awesome ambience.

Phaelax, your amp is insane! I'm using a 15W roland (cube-15) about 1/4th the size of yours. It's good enough for home use but it's a bother every time I have a gig to play and need to rent a larger one.
And I used to have that same desktop background.

Here's where I pretty much live now-a-days:

Hey, we have the same external drives! Gotta love my amp though, but it'd be better if I lived somewhere where I could actually crank it up past 2. It'll reach a few blocks away I'm sure.

I don't know, I think this whole screen thing's a bit of a fad, it'll blow over eventually.

Nice amp Phaelax - I'm still just rocking a 40w Marshall combo - need to get a stack. Really like this Cornford they had at my old music college for their sound, but it doesn't really cut through the mix live as well as some...

I love the steampunk pc's. I really want one now.

I'd show it here but the image is huge so yea...

I need to update my tower so I can run both monitors! I'm waiting so I can just buy a new tower since my fire wire/audio is kinda messed up on the motherboard. :S

So yea.... that's my setup :+D
