Well, Im new to the forums but been doing some coding in Dark GDK.

i was happy trying out the codes and started to write a project for fun and this error happened:

'Unhandled exception at 0x000001fa in FuryWarsBeta.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x000001fa.'

so now im clueless on what this means and how to fix it.
so help from anyone would be a big help.

Thank you.

Easy enough.

All you need to do is change the bit you got wrong. Usually the most recent bit.

Or, if thats not so simple, how about posting just a little more information.

One thing that I find can cause this is dimensions of arrays, there are no warnings about exceeding the bounds, if you do you may get that error if the location has been used for something else.

Good luck!

It means the application tried to access memory that it wasn't allowed to.
