DarkBasic Pro uses it's Dark Basic language and Dark GDK uses the same stuff but using C++. Essentially they do the same thing a different language and syntax

Dark GDK is a library for VC++ that bring the darkbasic language to C++ language for easy game creation and the power of C++.
DarkBASIC Pro is a stand alone programming language.

EDIT: This question has been ask alot. If you used the search feature then you would have found the answer alot faster.

It is a library for C++ not VC++. VC++ is visual c++ which is the ide. Just clarifying.

Oh thanks Caleb, i thought Visual C++ was C++ with missing or added features or sumthing. I've been wondering what the difference was.

Well, it's somewhat related to VC++, Dark GDK is designed to work with the Microsoft compiler, which behaves slightly differently than, say, Bloodshed Dev-CPP or GCC.

My site, for various stuff that I make.

There is alot of speed differences. Also i believe GDK is better because if you cant figure out how to do something or need to do something else you can just use c++ and get some other library to help you.

Now the plot thickens, the fps decreases, and the awesomeness goes through the roof.

It says it comes free with Microsoft VC++, so i thought it was only for VC++.
