the problem i have with patch 5 is not an error but when i run my programs this includes ones created after i installed patch 5 is that it compiles and executes, but when it execures id produces nothing the program is running because it is in the task manager it just does not show up. i have read the numerous other patch 5 threads but none of them address my problem.

directx 9.0b
amd athlon 1.7ghz
full version dbpro
ati radeon 9000 64mb
512mb ddr ram

i tried the fresh install thing and it did not help i really need to use this patch but cant...plaese help

w00t -what does it mean?

I had the same prob, you gotta update your vid drivers to run with DX 9.0

sweet thnx it workes for most of my projects exept the one i need
what happens now is that it loads up plays the start movie and then exits the program.
