Hey all!

Well I was simply worndering if it's possible for me to change my ingame resolution, when i test games all my edges of characters and entities ect are all tacky... I'd just like to know if I could increase my resolution!

I know that I can open the setup file... then change the resolution... however it changes back to its previous setting. I'm trying to change it too 1440-900!

Thanks guys and girls!

Close your FPSC,and then select your FPSC folder and right click it and select Properties. There uncheck Read Only and click apply and ok.Then change your resolution in setup.ini and save.Run your FPSC and it should work

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

Djmaster, thanks for all the help, however it hasn't worked... for some reason it is always changing the resolution back down to 1024x768... i've followed all the steps haha, but it just doesn't want to stick with it's resolution!!! (rather frustrating).

But anyway if there are any other ways, then yeah.

This might sounds sad, but I actualy Re-wrote that whole file, with the slight chance of it working but nothing. I'm out of ideas!

Thanks anyway!

in the main source coad of fpsc

1024x768 is what is set for the higest screen resalotion.this is what i read in the main fpsc source my self.

lines 1960

global gdisplaywidth : gdisplaywidth=1024
global gdisplayheight : gdisplayheight=768
global gdisplaydepth : gdisplaydepth=32

then this

if gdisplaywidth<>1024 or gdisplayheight<>768 or gdisplaydepth<>32
set display mode gdisplaywidth,gdisplayheight,gdisplaydepth

you cant go any higher unless you change the source, ive tryed
ive also changed it myself and now it works at 1440x900

Well I have just dicovered, that when I try Untick the Read only box, then try and apply it... it starts loading, but for some reason it just keeps it ticked... so yeah I'm not exactly sure on what to do?
