My thought is this enveroment has been designed on a modeling program then added to FPSC as an object ( not so sure )

I think Cartography Shop and 3D World Studio will help you.

Well of course that looks awesome, it's by Getsfile (MEAT). And he doesn't create his maps in external modelling programs, it's pure FPS Creator.

Jeku always gets drunk and tries to Moderate the ocean. Tirelessly slapping the waves as they roll in.

The screenshot apparently lacks lightmaps. It could probably look way better if it was properly lighted.

that is no lightmapping, and it is made in the FPSc editor?

can he teach me that? I thought I was good at level design until I saw that one.

Ocho Geek closer to really have that image.
Only light with not my opinion.
setuplevel.fpi (ambience) nothing to do with balance.

Wow...that's EFX? Holy smokes. For this shot I just have

Fog Active: 5
Fog Red, Blue, Green: 0
Ambience level: 12
Amb Red: 0
Amb Green: 47
Amb Blue: 47

...and the way I lit it was (besides using Omega Mod) having a 120 strength white light immediately below the light, then having a grey light at around 80 below that a few "inches".

I just posted this because getting decent ambience is almost possible in game, and I figured since I feel that I have half way decent settings I'd just share'em.

FPSC has a very good lighting system.

The only thing I'd like to see is more support for outdoor lighting like the environment light in Source engine.

It would be nice to have a light where the brightness can be changed to create really contrasting indoor and outdoor sections.

Proper support for location of the Sun would be nice... so we have a proper lighting system outside. Try clipping your way out of a building you make with segments, lightmapped on the inside (but not the outside)...

...it's all black, but the skybox says otherwise...
