Certainly. I can tell you how I got the body in Fenix mod. Hopefully this is correct, but it works for me.

1. I placed my player marker.
2. I placed a character entity (I chose the SS Officer Unarmed) behind the marker.
3. I right-click on the character entity and in the AI Script- Main script I select the body.fpi script. It is located in the folder \files\scriptbank\Fenix mod\
4. I click apply, then test. When I look down i have the body of the SS Officer.

Cheers

Good explanation Blackfox, but one better thing to do is maybe delete the arm and head textures from the character texture.

@ AdrianoJones

Never thought of that. I do have the SWAT body and legs that came when we purchased Project Blue, but I was testing out using other characters. Seems to work fine for us.

@ locomad

If you look down, yes you will see you have the "body" of the entity. When you move forward, then you don't see the body. I am wondering if you had meant 3rd person view, so when you move forward, backward, etc you see the body all the time. If so, I followed the same steps as I outlined earlier, but for step 3:

3. I right-click on the character entity and in the AI Script- Main script I select the Third Person.fpi script. It is located in the folder \files\scriptbank\Fenix mod\and then that was it.

Cheers

Yes, you are right, but the SWAT body and legs that came with Project Blue already had the arms and head erased, but I haven't tested on other characters, so I don't know. But you are right on with your explanation.

Locomad: You are barely giving a thank you, and you seem kinda rude.

Locomad - Okay seriously why do you capitalize the first letter of EVERY word? Some other guy (jimmy the hand or something like that) did the exact same thing and being as obsessive compulsive as I am it drives me insanely crazy

And to erase the arm and head textures you need a texturing program such as Gimp or photoshop or paint.net. Then just open the character's texture and make his head and arm solid black 0,0,0.

How is he being rude? He hasn't completely figured out his problem yet so a thank you isn't exactly needed yet anyways.
I don't know about any of you out there but I think it's more rude almost demanding a thank you or something in return than it is not receiving one at all. You can't always do things for people and expect something in return. The world doesn't work that way. People are getting WAY too worried about each others' feelings around here. It's driving me crazy.

I'm not the one demanding a thank you, but all the help that Blackfox gave he posted like Blackfox never posted at all. He just seems like another one of those guys that are like "oh, the world will end if you don't solve my problem!" But please. Don't start an arugment about this.

Thanks For All The Help Guys, But I Think I Found The Solution. Sadly, To Get To It I Need To Solve Another Problem.

I Added The FPS Game From The Folder With The Scripts. But Whenever I Attempt To Load The Game, It Doesnt Come Up And I Have To CTRL-ALT-DELETE, Which Then Makes It No Longer Respond. Do You Know How To Solve That?

Normally With Mods, You Get That FPS Game File Which You Swap With The Original FPS Game File Found Somewhere In Its Folder In Program Files.

I Changes It, And Now Whenever I Start Up A Test Game, It Doesnt Bring Up The Game And Its At The Toolbar At The Bottom. And Because It Makes It So That The Mouse Stays In The Middle, I Cant Reach It Unless I CTRL-ALT-DEL, Which Makes It No Longer Respond.

Actually you can press Alt+TAB. I have that issue where the game is in the taskbar and you can't move the mouse. Press Alt+TAB will allow you to switch to the game. Of course it depends on how many apps you have open, then you may have to press Alt+TAB a couple times until you reach the game.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

Thanks For That Alt-Tab Info, That'll Really Help Me Later On, But Sadly, The Test Game Did Not Work, There Is Still Just An SS Officer Just Standing Behind Me.

@ AdrianoJones- you are correct. We did have to remove the arms textures. For example, I used the US Marine (unarmed) for the body. If i carry a weapon and look down, I see both arms/hands and the weapon. So you were correct in having to remove those parts from the texture file. Thanks.

Cheers

For just having the body/legs show on your player, make certain the entity character you are placing is dynamic. Also make sure the entity's AI Main script is pointing to the body.fpi script. It is located in the folder \files\scriptbank\Fenix mod\ when you use Fenix Mod. You right-mouse-click on that character to access the properties and find AI Script, Main. It works just fine for us here, so I am not too sure why it is not for you. The entity does not have to be touching the marker, it can be a fair distance behind.

If you are doing 3rd person, it's the same as the other, except you point the Entity's AI Main script to the Third Person.fpi script. It is located in the folder \files\scriptbank\Fenix mod\ when you install Fenix mod.

Cheers

And you copied the FPSC-Game.exe file from Fenix Mod to your FPS Creator directory as well? If not, rename your original FPSC-Game.exe file to FPSC-Game.exe.bak and then copy the exe that comes with Fenix Mod.
