Hi, I just installed Dark GDK for the first time, and I've been trying to compile a test project to ensure everything works.

I've updated the GDK files from http://files.thegamecreators.com/DarkGDK/, added all the necessary paths to both this project and to Visual Studio 2008, and now the only error that is left is this one:

main.cpp(20) : error C3861: 'dbSetDisplayModeVsync': identifier not found

I've searched through the forums + the supplied compiled html documentation (which does not support searching ?? and it's difficult to find things in general due to the lack of alphabetizing within each topic).

.. Basically, I'm using this forum post as a last resort.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Go to your include files and look through the headers, all the functions are listed in there. This is the directory on my computer:

C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\Dark GDK\Include

dbSetDisplayModeVSync in specific is in the display library, but I believe it is a command associated with the newest release of DarkGDK

Yes, I think you're right, luke810. And I was getting errors for other functions as well until I installed every one of the updates from:

http://files.thegamecreators.com/DarkGDK/

in order from earliest to newest on my computer. Now I get no complaints about any functions.

Although I'm still battling it out with the Linker, which can't seem to open the 'DarkSDK.lib' file, even when I set the path in both the project and visual studio.
