I've been watching Strong Bad read his emails for a good couple of months now. My personal fave has got to be "sisters".

Yep, you gotta have blue hair.

Its soo true. Most of the anime (I hate using that word) here sucks. Seems that the better the drawings the worse the story.

correction, the worse the TRANSLATED story is... and most of the time this is because either a)they translate for a less mature audience or b)english/americans watching them pay more attention to the girls tits who just feel out all over the place than realising she's talking about some important life lesson or c)they just don't care about the boring life lesson and just wanna watch her tits for a while

most have a good story... well cept Cowboy Bebop ::groans::

CORRECTION the storys suck
Well you see Raven I AM in Japan, and im telling you its (the pure Japanese non translated stuff) is crap;

There are only 2 good shows;
Naruto (seriously kick ass ninja stuff)
One peice (Not as much anime (in the guys eyes) though some wacky stuff)

A few crap ones (oh and these are big here)

Prince of tennis:
Amazing drawings, think DBZ sept they play tennis "Supaaa smashuu", *cough* no

Pokemon:
Yes pokemon is still here, and as far as the Japs are concerned its still big. Its the all new crapper than ever series.

Bayblade:
Same a pokemon

Godzilla:
ohoh so its not anime but there upto what now, 80? (imagine watching 80 different star wars episodes)

So many friken girly anime all about angels. Like this one where they had this girl and she wanted to become a singer, and she became a singer and an angel, oh yeah thats great. TYhe drawings were good but a waste of talent in my opinion.

Only the good stuff gets out of Japan and into america and now even the bad stuff is leaking out.
Run for your lives!

wow.. and i thought i was the only one who saw One peice here... that is a good anime.....

Bebop's music was the best.. which was the story.. so it made a good anime...

Patlabor (1&2) were pretty good.

IMO GitS:SAC the best series of the year...

Working on 4 projects 2 RPG(programming texturing and 3d map), 1 3rd person shooter (Programming), and a special project.

Lucky you, I have to watch it on prime time tv, in pure Jap.
Though it is weird sometimes when they repeat episodes that are 3 weeks old, must be on 2 channels or something.

And twice a week with a 3week old episoda nad the real one is annoying.

Anyway I totally missed the start (every episode before 35 lol) though I did see some of the really early ones when I went to Japan last year they made no sence then. Care to fill me in quickly

so,
Naruto, which has hidden in himself the nine-tailed fox, wants to become the greatest hokages so that people will recognise him, since it at that time it was still considered as the the nine-tailed fox. To do this, it needs to pass all the levels beneath, eg.
genins and jounins. To become those, there are missions and exams.Probably, now they are in the third exam(36-42 not seen ).
These exams are used to find the best ninjas from all the 5 ninja countries.

p.s. the first episodes(1-6)are real fun

hope,i've not forgot something.

hokages is the most powerfull and respected ninja in the village
and all ninjas obey to him

As there are 5 ninja villages, there are only 5 kages
according to the village (Hokages - village of leaf(naruto village)
