Hi everyone,

I'm creating high quality decals that I might release at a later date. For now I'm creating for my games!
The first ones are for use with the upcoming bond1's pack, that I'll buy for sure! I'm making variations on old 40's, 50's and 60's commercials that showed up in cinemas.

Tough simple, I think these decals can bright the world of FPSC a while, when used wisely!

Thanks for the comments. I'll make a youtube video when I've got more decals to show.

Another two, with size variant on the second one. It's quite big, to look like a movie screen, yet it can still be bigger, without loosing too much quality in the end.

Thanks. Any ideas for decal creation? I could use the inspiration.

For now I have like a dozen movie screens.

I have a question just off the top of my head, are you using the 4x4 16 images decal or something like 10x10 100 images? I was just curious, I have yet to test how big the fpsc decal can go. I like what you have done here. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more.

The decals can have the scale command added, so you can basicly have a very large decal, tough as you scale it, you may loose definition, if your original image is not that big.

I'm using a 4x4 16 images with not standard definition, like 512x512 or 1024x1024. As an example, for the "starts sunday", my final texture has got 2880x1920, with each block having something like 715x480, which gives a good margin for scaling them in FPSC without loosing much quality. This is why I've called them "High Quality Decals"

Hope this helps!

Now I'm preparing some sci-fi decals. Most of them static, but bringing a new scale for decal use. I'm working on a moon decal, very large and detailed, so that you can look outside from a window and be amazed with it. It's much better the overall effect of using a large moon decal than paste it into the skybox. As it is near, I maintained the decal always facing the player and because it's very large, it seems only to slowly face the player. The final effect is simple and nice, the moon seems actually a round 3d model, while being only a pane!
