Hey... for some reason DBP doesn't like loading images. Any ideas?



Even that doesn't work... I wanna know why I can't load images?

Is the image in your current folder? Have you tried using full pathnames?

The current folder is either where your project file is, or if you have not created a project, it's in the temp folder within the DBPro folder.

Me neither. No-one else seems to be having this problem.

Is it a valid bitmap?

If it helps any, the error is:

Runtime Error 506 - Could not load image at line 1

I made this simple program, in paint I made a white aquare, saved it as 1.bmp and put it in the same folder as my .dba. I then made a simple program:



And yet, I still get this error. I have U5. I can't see it being DX, but I will go download v9.0 anyway.

directx 9 is necessary for u5 to run isn't it? thats probably your problem
