I have a few .wrl files that I want to convert to an editable format. Red Faction's editor exports maps, but as .wrl files. How do i convert the wrl to something like 3ds?

this program http://www.modelpress.com/ supposedly does wrl --> 3ds but i havent tried it..

sadly it costs money but there is a trial..

3DS Max also has a wrl importer but again not free.
