Hey guys. I'm new with the software and just had a quick question.
How do I apply a texture to a custom 3D object that I have made. I know how to edit .dds files of other objects, but I don't know how to map a .dds file to a custom 3D object. Help?

You need to learn how to UV Map an object, which basically embeds data in the model containing information on how the texture map is laid out from its normal flat surface (a 2D image) to your 3D model's surface.
