GIMP, Photoshop; any image manipulation software can do it Then you have to edit the setuplevel.fpi file and replace the current HUD images with the ones you've created.

I recommend GIMP 2.0 which is what Kravenwolf uses as well. It is the only texturing program I like and use.

Thanks guys, but actually, I already have photoshop cs3 installed on my laptop, which is what I use. I already know how to make images and stuff, I want to know where to put them in the folders, and what to edit, and where what I need to edit is. Can you guys help me with that?

Ah, yes. Forgot about Adobe Photoshop. I have it, I like it, yet I'm still so stubborn that I use free image editing freeware versus expensive professional image editing software made by Adobe.

Actually, what I meant, was, I would like to know what scripts, and everything I need to edit, to change the HUD, and where to put the images? I already have Photoshop, and know how to make images and stuff, I just want to know where to put it, and how to change it? Can someone help me with this?

I just got a brill dds plugin from GIMP. You need GIMP 2.6 but this plugin has had no problems and was very easy to install.
