I downloaded the tral version yesterday and what a difference!!

I'm totally stumped, theres nothing for me to learn from because there are no examples and the help files arent really that helpful in telling me what commands actually do. Ive been using DBC for almost 3 years, and i never thought id hit a dead end. Somebody please give me something to do on the trial version before i get the proper one. And am I the only one who finds the IDE somewhat uncomfortable? Thats probably because im so used to the original DB editor though.

So can anyone give me ideas on a short project or anything just to keep me busy?

If you've been using DB for 3 years it should be familiar grounds. There's no less or more examples with Pro than DB - so how did you get started 3 years ago? Apply the same logic/process again

Pro is identical to DB in respect of syntax - so you hsould have no problem. What can be scary is how fast it all runs.

The IDE is OK when you have large projects but for just simple snippets it's a bit OTT. I'm making an ide which I hope will be used mainly for small snippets etc.

just change the colour setup to something similar if you need that visual nudge

Heh heh thanks guys, ive spent most of today on it and im getting the hang of it, just gotta take in all those new commands that my poor little radeon 7000 cant handle. I nearly attacked my computer trying to figure out how to save the code!!! The project/source thing confused me. But im getting the hang of it now.
