Hello to all guys! I'm not sure if I'm posting this to the right place...

I haven't started programming in DBPro yet. I have serious experience in Quick Basic 7.1(the pro edition). When I say serious, I mean big projects. My question is whether I will be able to learn DBPro from scratch. I haven't done any other programming language (such as C or Java) so I don't know how easy it's gonna be. You think I have to start from the simple DB? I have already some knowledge to data types others than the QB's but I am completely ignorant in matters of graphic manipulation and sound and generally the visual enviroment. (yeah QB is really old...) It will be the first time that I'll do game programming...

So, any suggestions? Plz help me. I'm sorry if I were tiring.

Dark Basic is a natural progression from the more traditional basics such as Quick Basic. Just a few lines of set up code and you are on your way.
The easiest way to get started is to work through the tutorials on the webpages these will quickly show you how to manipulate the graphics.

You may however wish to post more often in the new commers corner.

In answer to your trying "simple DB" first, the answer is no. DB Pro is basically DB with bells and whistles and more speed. It's no more difficult than the original DB, and it's many many times faster and more powerful. DB Pro has the power to make a decent application where as in DB it's a struggle to find the power to do anything decent.
