If I post this in the wrong section sorry but if you move it thanks .I am a 3d modeler and now I want to create a model pack for this engine as I have some free time .I have a bunch of questions as far as what I need to do .I know I need or have to have the entity workshop in order to get the models into the game engine as the right size and look .Though I dont really or havent seen whats the max polygon count for like characters or anything .Or as far as animation for the engine and rigging for the engine how I would go about doing that .What all will the game engine support in terms of mapping or texture work .I am assuming it wont or dont support like normal, bump, spec or dffiuse map .

Thanks

You just need a 3d modeling software that will export x models. Then Put the X model in entity workshop. Bam bobs your uncle, you have a model. I say fragmotion and wings 3d any one can use that software very simple, many tutorials on a google search.

Ok, theres no max poly count, but its best to keep characters to around 3000 at the max.
Also, you dont need entityworkshop, although it is handy.
And yes it does support normal maps, specular maps, bump and diffuse

Hope that helped,

General Jackason is correct you don't need entity workshop, but it will make your models easier.

Yes FPSC supports Normal Mapping up to a certain level, check out some of the Model Packs on fpscreator.com to get some ideas on how the characters look, The more recent model packs all use normal mapped characters.
