Hey, ma agian. I've had some luck with my 3d and skinning software, I was able to make an .X file(no pun intended) but I'm seeing these .fpe files that corrispond to there object. I'm using FPSC BTW. Can someone please tell me what these are, and if there necissary. For the object I'm trying to create(dice) I put it in a catagory folder and added, the X file and thumbnail. But I copied a random object file(concreate_wall.fpe) and renamed it dice.fpe...that didn't work. Help please?

Real mature, "Master man."

An fpe tells FPSC where a .x model is located in a level, how it behaves, and what scripts and textures are associated with it. You can use something like Entity Maker(scroll down) to make fpe files for .x models.

I will live forever or die trying.

This might get you started, Master Man of Justice: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=142838&b=2
You were not very helpful in your previous post, so I agree with Venge.

Actually he was very helpful. By posting that link, Goldleader5 could have easily read the Google results and found out the answer to his question within seconds. So, he did in fact help.

In all fairness...I would have done the same, and followed up with a much kinder explanation of why. It really was a very easy search to do. Google first, ask second.

I'm seriously tired of seeing this. If you're too lazy to help yourself, why in the world would we want to help you? If you spent some time actually trying to figure out something for yourself, people around here, including myself, would be much more likely to want to help you. Googling is NOT that hard, and your original question was answered in the FIRST SEARCH RESULT.

I disagree, and that's not up to us to decide anyway. I just think that he should consider using a bit more common sense.

Wow, you guys are nice, just because I'm lazy dosn't mean I'm a n00b(<-thats how you spell it by the way). The fact that I have an actual life and other things to do definetly dosn't make me a n00b. Yes, I'm new with the program, dosn't realy matter. N00bs are immature six year olds that are shure of themselves*cough*. Asking for help actualy means the exact opposite. Also, serching "How to skin a dbo model" dosn't get you very far...

So back to my question;
How do I skin a model metioned in the above post using the "Make fpe files from X files" program?
