3 Dimensional Chat / Exporting bone-skin animations in 3ds max 8

Hi,
I'm using 3ds max 8 and when I try to export a bone-skin animated character, the animation only shows up as the bones in DBP i.e. the bones move about but the character itself doesn't contort as expected. Also the whole model is totally black.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you set x,y,z=0 before you exported from max?

Coordinates have nothing to do with this problem.I think your export settings are wrong.
