I live in US and I was at walmart tonight and I saw in the magazine called MaximumPC that they have a cd with free software and one of them said Fraps, I googled it and the first one to come up is a screenrecording software for videogames, I don't know if the one in the magazine is this fraps to record or not. In the magazine I didn't find any comments on the software that they offer. The magazine's price is $ 8.95 or so. Maybe somebody wants to try it.

I didn't think it was ever free. There is a free download but you have to register it to get it to do everything.

Fraps has a free demo. If you want to use it with no watermark you have to pay for it.

And yes, I am a registered Fraps user

I think the free version does only 30 seconds of recording and displays a watermark.

Fraps costs $37 so I imagine it would be the demo version.

I think, hangon lemme test it.

{edit} oh my goodness, it makes the graphics look unbeleivably terrible!
I didnt think it would do that because it didnt when I was recording my tutorial in fragmotion.
