What Niels said.

I, and I'm sure he, would be most grateful if somebody could post explaining this process?

Attempting to simply install from the darkGame studio CD you get a message to the effect that Dark GDK relies on the Microsoft C++ Compiler, which has not been detected. The 2010 beta compiler is there, but the installer is obviously seeking the 2008 version. I have a copy of that, but would prefer to go with 2010 if possible.

Many thanks.
