AC3D out does not handle DBO, ok with 3DS.

3ds? which one is that?

most editors either import or export, one or another, the only one i know that does both with .dbo is frag motion, but it exports it in a way that makes it so sensitive to ambient light that you practically cant see the textures, and i cant do a thing about it,

All i want is something i can import my .dbo landscapes and add things to it (models) so it can be exported as a single .dbo object

Actually, there are some programs (made here on the forums) that take normal .x models and convert them to .dbo.

Typos, they can't live without me.

You should create an editor in DBP. It would be ideal for this.

Try DB King's WORLD. If you can export you terrain to the right file, then you can import you terrain (and models) here, and then reexport them (and the it is meant to contain the positions and locations of each object to work with DBP). That, or Evolved's Mapscape, but I haven't had time to play around with his editor for a while. The importing process, I should warn you before hand, isn't as simple as file>import>.dbo file. You have to move the file (or just copy it) into the folder for your level. It's complicated, but helpful. The best part I like is that since it saves the models as different locationed meshes, you can load it all at once and add physics. Hope I helped, cheers.
