Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

You should read the Official Guide first. This will answer your questions and many you didn't think of yet.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the forums Ibby. You asked where to put the files you downloaded. Ok so the water effect is it a entity or a segment? If it is a entity, It would go into Files/entitybank. If it is a segment Files/Segmentbank, I belieave on fps free it tells you if it is a segment or a entity. So just place it in the correct folders. All scripts you download/creat go into the scriptbank. As for asking how to use them it depends on what ones you want to use and what they are for.

The official model packs? Simply click on them and follow the instructions, they will install themselves. Then just run your FPSC and play.

Yes, I can see the funny side but please stop with the 'nickyduded' as it just encourages more and more useless posts (which I've deleted).

oh well... i guess good things never last. In answer to your question ibby, it depends which model pack. the official ones install themselves, but custom ones (often from FPS-FILES or FPS-FREE) need to be manually placed, they usually come with a pre-made folder structure but in some cases they don't. if you are just downloading enities i suggest putting the files in your entitybank folder.

true, some do, but most opt for the zip file with inbuilt folders.
