I've been anticipating some kind of update in visual and physics
for fpsc x9, & it seems the only thing we've gotten so far(not that I'm complaining!) is in The new metro pack as 'Shader 2.0*

Yet, I can't seem to find any info on it anywhere else other then
the fpsc page. If you could, I was was hoping that some of you might have asnwers to these burning questions. Such as;

Are the Pixel & Water effects a fixed feature only for The Metro,

or Are they stand alone to be used freely?

Thank you ever so much.

They aren't a feature that altered the source, just some bond1 shader work.

In order to get these effects, you need to purchase "The Metro Theater" model pack. But then once you have it, you can use the water effects anywhere you want. You can also use the shaders on stock media or your own media, as long as you name the textures accordingly, and assign them the one of the included shaders - done either by editing the fpe or fps file in notepad, or by right clicking on the entity in the editor.

Ah!
Well,
thank you ever so much.

One more thing though,
what margin for error is there?

I mean, even i know that somtimes,
FPSC add ons involving editing like that don't work
so wonerfully.

Have you tried it, if so, how difficult is it to use?
I don't want to get my hope up for nothing.

It isnt that hard. You open your entitie's .fpe file, modify the effect= line to point to the shader, make the needed textures and play.
