There isn't really a 'best' mod. It's all just a matter of opinion. Ask Plystire, and he'll tell you that Project Blue is the best. Ask knxrb, and he'll say that Horror Mod is the best. Ask Hockeykid, and he'll tell you about Fenix Mod. Snakemod, RPG Mod, EFX Mod, you get the point.

I have three mods right now; Project Blue, Horror Mod, and Fenix Mod. They all have unique features, and they all bring more to FPS Creator. Project Blue has the most commands out of any other mod as well as full screen shader support, Horror mod has my favorite flashlight, and Fenix Mod has Dark AI, and melee support for Errant's GC Store weapons.

I'm using Fenix Mod at the moment, and I would suggest you give it a try, since it is free. I would also suggest giving Project Green a try (a free version of PB, and also free), and I hear that Horror Mod will soon have a free version as well. You can try them all out for yourself, and then chose which one is best for you. you can also check each mod's 'official thread' for a more specific list of features that each mod has to offer.

one more thing: will they cause errors if I run them all at the same time? I figured I'd ask because my computer caught fire (come to think of it, that happend shortly after I DLoaded your melae weapon pack, kraven.) and I dont want to take any risks.

You can't unfortunately.

If you want a Nzi Zombies style game, I highly recommend Z-Mod, but I'm currently using Fenix Mod.

I don't remember ever advertising it as such. I leave the opinion making up to the person deciding. If they want heads blown off, I'll tell them to use horror mod. If they want team AI then I'll recommend them to Fenix Mod. I, more than anyone else, know what PB is capable of and what it isn't capable of, so if PB won't fit the bill for what they want, I don't tell them to get it anyway.

If they are looking for a well-rounded Mod, PB does very well there considering its wide-spread FPI additions. And since it has weapon scripts, you're also not limited to the functionality of the stock weapon handling. People have made decent water in vanilla FPSC, so it goes without saying that water can be done in PB as well. And if you're going to tell me that it won't have reflections or refraction, I can give you a few best selling PS3 titles with water that don't have either of those on their water, either.

I thought Zombie Mod wasn't actually a mod. To my knowledge its a collection of other people's models and scripts (some modified and some new ones) and a manual telling you how to use it all to make a game with waves of enemies etc.

I think fenix is the best. The frames are really good, dark ai is good, awesome flashlight, the third person works, but is kinda bugy, the same with the body script (has to have the right anims and you have to take the arms off), but I have not tried project blue or green, or even horror mod. fenix is free and has tons of features.

I'd have to disagree with that, PBUM and Horror Mod both have higher FPS than Fenix Mod whenever I've used it.

With the new improvements to Horror Mod for the next release I've got it improved so that you can have 175,646* polygons on screen at the same time at a constant 66 FPS
And that's with the new shaders from MP38 running for water and entities etc..

*One hundred and seventy five thousand, six hundred and fourty six polygons.

It has AirMod 0.6 newly added for the next release.
And I can provide a screenshot of the polygon count as well for any who might not believe me

if you could take a screen shot on a low end computer then i'd believe you. If memory serves me correctly (which i'm almost certain it does) you have a rather good computer.
