here's a free sketchup model of a colt. if anyone would like to make it FPSC ready, feel free to do it (with my permisson)
and the model might not like a real colt should do, becous i don't really have a loaded colt in my pocket.

Please, don't call me nexar. call me Kuromi.

no i promise i did it! search on google warehouse and put that colt in, then you put in mine, and see the difference! but it's really nice that you are comparing my model with a master modeller's model! but it sounds that you really like it, yes?

Please, don't call me nexar. call me Kuromi.

Looks like a cardboard cut-out which hasn't been uv-mapped. Therefore hard to put in FPS Creator.

Jeku always gets drunk and tries to Moderate the ocean. Tirelessly slapping the waves as they roll in.

Try searching around for Uv mapping tutorials, i havnt used sketchup so iam not sure about its performance.

At a glance these models look the same,

Colt 45 peacemaker

but thier are some minor differences in details expected with using different reference images. These are minor, however considering its a cutout, its fair to say its been made by kuromi.

In 3d view, look at the hammer, notice its smooth while thiers a notch in hers. A few other things stike differently so yes thier different models. Though take this on face value, i havnt the time to install more clutter on my pc to check the meshs, its bad enough as it is for a Ocd-like person to have more than five desktop items.

Though i did Dl, to test if max9 can import, so dont call me lazy, the file sizes are hugely different, a 4mb gap between them, most likely wasted polies expected at any level modeler.

Anyway great job on this. andtry as i said looking for Uvmapping tuorials. It will help alot later on.

other than the cute/ cannon fodder sig

UV mapping is like having a net of a box. Need Better way to describe it...

Its like a having a fur pelt of the model. From this you draw on it flat, then wrap it back around your model.

Google is your best freind and will be a better teacher than most. Though when you get stuck speak up plenty of us here will help if youv showed effort to understand this on your own first.
