I guess once it has been converted to one format it doesn't always translate back to another format...!!

Hey man I'm so sorry I totally missed your post where you gave out the half-life 2 pipes!! I've been scimming over them this whole time and not realizing! Thanks so much for these man, the only thing is...which, well it might be something I'm doing wrong on my end, but they're coming through as invisible

I place them in my map, and I tried having shaders both enabled and disabled thinking that might be the issue, but I can't seem to get 'em to appear unfortunately! The models are there, because the shadow they're supposed to produce is there, and I can run into them - so they're physically there, just invisible.

Cheers

Weird I had no problems ? Try a different texture see if that helps

Perhaps check the FPE file I think I might have named the texture differently... confuzzled

Ah! I got it man, the model was calling for the texture from entitybank\half-life type pipes\rust_d2.dds but the way that the folders are set up it needed to be entitybank\half-life type pipes\Half-life type pipes\rust_d2.dds. Anyways I got them working and they look phenomenal, exactly what I was hoping for bro. You did a great job, and I can't wait to see what you create next

Thanks a million, cheers!

Hi guys

I am in that mood again...

Enjoy

Each mesh is separate so can be exported and imported as needed or you could texture as is.

Are you still taking requests? Because I need a cable that has bone segments rigged to it, a simple, straight cable will do, I need it to test out a theory I have...

@Bugsy

No you do not need HL2.I just named them HL2 pipes as some one asked for similar pipes...and the textured pipes are either in download link one or two with a unrelated HL2 texture.?

Does that clear things up?

Hi guys decided to improve some of the pipe slightly more detailed.

Adding T-junctions and Cross-junctions as well with wall supports.

What do you guys think, do you want large or smaller pipes?

Yes, that is why I have not supplied any textures and any email requests have not been posted here.

As for use my normal EULA applies.

The pipe fest continues.

These are a improvement of the original HL2 type pipes slightly higher polygon so it won't look so blocky and as well as some alignment and collision issues and the added bonus of cross and T-junctions.

Enjoy!

thanks for clarifying, Wizard of Id.

will you take a peek at the "pipe shadow problem" thread in general chat? I'm having some problems with the pipes.

currently, though, they're my favourite models I have. we're at a never ending shortage of good pipes.
