Hello all,

Sorry to ask this most likely common question but I can't find anything that doesn't involve half-life,counterstrike, or quake 3.

but is possible to compile say an .obj into a .bsp and .pk3 files?
or how else can I make bsp maps for say darkGDK?

alright I learned how to make a .bsp file. now when I try to load it into darkGDK the background is black and I can't seem to find my bsp?

How did you make a BSP out of an OBJ?

Athlon64 2.7gHz->OC 3.9gHz, 31C, MSi 9500GT->OC 1gHz core/2gHz memory, 48C, 4Gb DDR2 667, 500Gb Seagate + 80Gb Maxtor + 40Gb Maxtor = 620Gb, XP Home
Air cooled, total cost £160

I imported the .obj into blender where I exported it as .map I then used gtkRadiant to compile it to .bsp but the bsp didnt work so Im doing something wrong
