This still doesn't work, does it?

Can this be fixed please. I do need this function.

I am part of the problem and will always be.

Cant you use SetGadgetParent ChildGadget,ParentGadget to get the same result?

This doesn't work for dialogboxes like message and the printerdialogbox.

But I found a workarround thanks to Xolatron

+ Code Snippet

SetDialogOwnerDLL()

    if eventType()=WINDOW_CLOSE

end

function SetDialogOwnerDLL()
load dll "gui2.dll",gui2num

call dll gui2num,"setDialogOwner",window
endfunction

Don't forget to copy gui2.dll into your projectfolder.
