Is anyone, other than me, extremely excited about EFX Mod being back!? I use Fenix usually, but I'm gonna be playing with this for awhile! Post your feelings about it in this thread!

Well EFX Mod is one of the veteran mods and it did make FPSC look amazing, but really what else did it add?

Did it add dynamic dual-wielding? Did it add Dark AI? Did it add dynamic HUD and variable control? No, it didn't.

As far as I see, EFX Mod is a nice eye-candy mod, but it adds very little programing value.

actually you can do some pretty cool stuff with efx mods new commands. but this why there is a choice of which mod you use. i myselfe use fenix mod, project green and efx mod beta.

I would like to see more media of the new efx, I always enjoyed seeing what they had added. Seems like a lack of info, perhaps there is some on the German boads, I did a search but came up short.

Hence it being called EFX...nobody is saying that it adds so much programming value.

He isn't saying anyone did say so. It's a statement, not an accusation.

Don't know about anyone else but a lot of the GUI features aren't working for me in the new version such as bloom brightness and many more.

I guess theres a lot they are still working on but personally I'd rather just have the features which are finished in the interface with each release.

Its better to have a few features that work well than a lot which dont.

The new gui doesn't update the new values, until you clicked OK or Apply. You can check "Realtime Update" to let it update automatically.

Btw. Bloom Brightness/BlurWidth does not exist in the new flexBloom.

@Bigsnake
I didn't realise there was a choice! I'll take another look tonight.

@Nighthawk
Are there any new script commands for the latest version as there were no scripts provided in the download.

Which version are people using? there are 2 on the website:
efxMod Europa v2.0.1 [B9] (Build 1207)
efxMod Europa v2.0.2 [C0] (Build 1212)

It would be great if the test game settings could be saved as a file which works in a built game. I spent ages setting everything up in test game then couldn't figure out how to get the same settings in my built game.

Shift + Ins for classic
Shift + Home for xtend menu
