I need three models in .MAX format to be exported to either a .3DS or .AC. And yes, I have permission to use these files, but I couldn't receive them in any other format.

Here's what they look like:

E-mail me if you'd like to help Don't want to put the download here. I have AC3D, so I can't open MAX files.

Wait... can Blender open MAX? Cause then I could export it from blender...

Thanks all

PWP

I am an individual I don't necessarily 'own' a company, nor do I have a development team My friends like to help me very rarely.

PW Productions is a company I hope to establish some time later in my lifetime. I doubt it'll happen, though.

So, will you help?

Cheers

He must have forgotten that after he made them he converted them to 3DS, then he put them on Turbo Squid for download... that's a pretty bad memory he has.

Hold up! Sorry, didn't mean to say that I made them I don't even remember saying that... Honestly. I didn't. Don't flame, I will NOT take credit for them at all. I have no idea why I said that....

Wait, I just looked at the time I posted that... I wasn't online at 5:00 that day. I was out for dinner I think I have to change my password, right now. I've never used 3ds max in my entire life neither did I see any of Lazerus's stuff.

... Honestly, I take absolutely no credit for them. I have to look into this, so sorry guys, forgive me, have no idea what happened. I'm being truthful. I'm not that good in modeling anyways.

God, I feel like crap now.

And yes, I posted this. Please don't lock.

Oh, wait, watch no one's going to believe me. Now I really feel like crap.

EDIT: henry,
Quote: "if you want them in .3ds why not just go here"

That's where I got 'em from Look what the folder contained:

Doesn't matter now. It was edited, so who should give anymore? I'm quite pissed as of the moment.

EDIT: Still hate saying this, but, does anyone want to help anymore? I doubt it, but it'd be nice.

I just realised all the very rude comments here, but I'm not sure if I am the one who truthfully deserves it. Because now everyone thinks I'm a total crook who steals other people's media and tries to do something 'illegal' with them. Egh, makes me so mad, just because of a crappy password. Does anyone trust me or believe me now? Or are they totally denying what I just said?

The only thing I'm finding worrying here is you found no hesitation in claiming the models as your own.

And why did you lie about making them... That's what I can't understand.

I didn't. That's what I was afraid of; people not believing me, but whatever. My old password consisted of very simple characters commonly used (it was a term). I've changed it now.

I would never claim them as my own. See what I mean? No one believes me now. Y'know, what? Forget it. Delete the thread. It'd make me minutely happier.

That is the last time I ask for help in the 3D chat, it turned out disasterous and I hope one day I'll find it funny

This sounds really strange. The likelihood of anyone first finding your account, then figuring out the password and then realizing which forum you had written in AND hijacking it... Seems infinitesimal. Snowball's chance on Bahamas, kind of.

Besides, there are tons of conversion tools out there. And if the files had been made with a trial version of an Autodesk suite, you don't have rights to use it beyond your home computer anyway. Just as school versions of the same software is restricted to use at schools and can't be employed beyond the school's perimeters.

So... Well. Learn 3D -- that's what I'd suggest. And use licensed software.

also, if u just would have said: "hey, i found these really cool models at turbosquid, can someone convert them please?" and include a link to the models u had download nobody would "flame" but now u said:
Quote: "I need three models in .MAX format to be exported to either a .3DS or .AC. And yes, I have permission to use these files, but I couldn't receive them in any other format"
sure, u own the models, u claim to have the right to use them, but where is the proof? if u would have included a link, we would know for sure.
