Thanks Mike I was pleased to see the mention. I probably should have finished the rodian and entered that instead but was too busy with college work to get it done. The Rancor had been started before the compo was anounced so it didn't count =( May be next time

Well it was nice that the newsletter gave you mention. We read it and one of the kids said "hey Dad, they talked about that guy with all the Star Wars models". So at least you know you have some fans lurking

Your entry deserved attention even if it didn't quite qualify in the eyes of the judges.

Thanks David, I should probably find and read the rules for a competition next time I enter =)

Just in case you need a 'Galactic Phrase Book and Travel Guide' check out the one by Ben Burtt it is really funny. It has pre-corellian, Huttese, Bocce, Ewok, Shyriiwook, Neimoidian, and even droid.

"Koona t'chuta, Solo?

Mal tram pee chock makacheesa.
Jabba wah ning chee kosthpa murishani tytung ye wana yoskah."

One phrase you might need is "Peez doz gravorti oop pinit?"(can you turn the gravity up a little?)
