i am using milkshape to make an interior area for my charecter- a house. I applied sparkys collision to the house and the charecter but the collision detection with milkshape is behaving in the most unpredictable way that make no sence to me at all. First the thing i noticed is the charecter is colliding with the walls fine and the cylinder type objects but not box objects which already makes no sence because the house walls are just one big box. Then i tried making a scaled down cylinder that is shaped like a box and the collision worked fine, when i rotated the cylinder from a vertical position to a horisontal position, the collision stopped working, , when i rotated it back to a vertical positio, collision work again.then i decided if only vertical cylinders work, i decided to stick one inside of my square object soit will collide with it but then the collision again stopped working for that cylinder even tho it was in a vertical position. Then i tried some planes which proved to detect my collisionm as soon as i stuck them inside the box objects that didnt work, the planes stopped working too. I tried looking for patterns here to see what works and what dosent and when, but its like as soon as i figure out something that should work milkshape just flips me off!
i really dont want to make collision boxes inside DB because they are quite inefficient and take up object number slots altho they work they way they are supposed to flawlessly.

also it does collide with some of the boxes but i cant figure out who those and not the others.

also i am using .dbo objects.

anyone had this problem before?

Maybe if you load them from Milkshape into another program, and then export them again?

Lithunwrap is free here....

i already use fragmotion to export milkshape stuff, both .x and .dbo have the same problem. I poked around a bit and came to a concluson that i think my problem is limb herarchy. I tried just making a bunch of boxes in milkshape and exporting it and all the boxes had collision. i think because my other models are a little complex, they are going into a lower level limbs, like limbs of limbs.

I need to find a way to rearrange the lims so all of them are placed on a more higer lever.
